Christina Hope McMillan was born November 23, 1977 in Bainbridge, Ga., the daughter of Gene Faircloth and Ada Americus McMillan. She earned her GED and later attended college working towards an Associates Degree. Christina was employed at Birdsong Peanut as a peanut grader. She was a member of Southwest Baptist Church.

Christina loved her family and family get-togethers, especially at Thanksgiving. She would lend a hand to anyone in need, but you had to work hard for her to share her ice cold Mountain Dew (which she only drank from the can). Known affectionately as “Crazy Christina,” her friends and family got a good laugh when she danced. She loved dancing so much she never really realized she didn’t quite have the hang of it. She loved to see you smile and you could count on Christina to say, “Smile like a donut!”

Survivors include her children, Jimmy Leroy Nix, Jr. & Logan, Hunter Coy Ray Eugene Nix, and Summer Madison “Sissie” Nix all of Bainbridge; her siblings, Kimberly Morrison & Billy, Joey & Sheila McMillan, Chad & Natasha McMillan, Robbie & Rhonda McMillan, Todd & Hollie McMillan, all of Bainbridge, and Lauri McMillan of Thomasville, Ga.; her granddaughter, Ava Rose Nix; the father of her children, Jimmy Leroy Nix, Sr.; several nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Gene “Papa Gene” White. Christina was preceded in death by her mother.
